Hi Denilso,I looked up the word waffle in the dictionary and I see that your usage of the word is correct (it appears that I'm learning English as well as Portuguese from your blog)! However I wanted to tell you that the use of the term "to waffle" that I am more familiar with is when referring to someone who can't make up his mind. For example:"He keeps waffling about which school he wants to go to" = "He goes back and forth over which school he wants to go to".Or an example I found on Google from a news report: "Robin Carnahan Waffling on Bush Tax Cuts: Some Days She Wants to Raise Taxes and Some Days She Doesn't".
That sounds just the same way Denilso showed. It's just a matter of contextualization.
